At VerifyScams, we believe you should have full control over your data. In compliance with global privacy standards and Google Play policies, we provide clear methods to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data.
Step 1: Initiation
To start the deletion process, you must submit a formal request through our secure portal.
Step 2: Verification
After submitting your request, our team will verify your identity to prevent unauthorized data loss. This usually involves:
- Confirming the request via your registered email address.
- Verifying active subscriptions or pending forensic reports.
Step 3: Permanent Erasure
Once verified, we will execute a "Hard Delete" from our production databases and backup systems. This includes:
- Authentication Data: Removal of your Firebase UID and login credentials.
- Personal Profile: Deletion of your name, email, and device IDs from Firestore.
- Forensic Logs: Clearing of all historically scanned app data and safety analysis results.
Retention Exceptions
Please note that some data (such as financial transaction records for subscriptions) may be retained for the minimum period required by law for tax and audit purposes.
